Couture Candy Review
One of the smart ways to wear designer clothing on a budget is to buy lesser-known designer clothing brands.
I wish I could afford all the most popular brand name pants, shirts, shoes, and suits that make my mouth water. Alas, I often have to walk by those because the price tags are more than my mortgage payment. The way I satisfy my hunger for fashion is to search out little-known designers. I can still look very much in fashion on a budget that I can afford. You see, being in fashion is more about the style than the name.
Couture Candy is a marvelous online fashion store if you want to save money and find clothing and accessories from the smaller and lesser-known designer brands.
When I reviewed their site, they had slightly more than 100 different designer brands on offer. That makes for a great and wide selection!
Using the left-hand menu on their site, you can shop either by category (denim, dresses, jackets, etc.) or by brand.
One of the really cool features of Couture Candy is their designer biographies. Look in their top horizontal menu for “Our Designers”. They give a biography of each designer and they show you a selection of the designer’s items. Not only do you learn about the designer’s credentials, you can also almost immediately see if you like the designer’s style. In addition to the biography, they also show you pictures and descriptions of where that designer’s items were worn by celebrities! Hence, if following celebrity style is important to you, this is where you can discover what the celebrities wore and you can wear the same.
Staying on the celebrity topic, Couture Candy also has a celebrity style blog that they update frequently. I frequently go there to get the latest on celebrity style.
I love an online fashion store that goes beyond just giving you a catalog of designer items to purchase. Couture Candy definitely walks the extra mile and then some.
They offer a wonderful personal stylist service where you can chat online, email, or call a personal stylist to help you with your fashion and style questions. That is totally awesome!
